Service and parts manager

The Service and Parts Manager leads a small team overseeing parts inventory and service operations, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality customer service within specialized facilities. This role involves managing supplier relationships, supervising staff, and maintaining accurate work order processing using proprietary dealership software and general business tools like Excel, all without travel requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage parts inventory to optimize stock levels and availability
• Oversee service department operations to ensure timely and quality service delivery
• Supervise and develop a small team of 1-5 members
• Maintain positive customer relations and handle inquiries or concerns
• Negotiate with suppliers to secure favorable terms and pricing
• Implement quality control measures across parts and service functions
• Process work orders accurately and efficiently using proprietary software
• Conduct training and development to enhance team performance

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in service and parts management

Preferred Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Experience in inventory management and customer service
