Job Description
Position Summary
Seneca Dairy Systems, LLC is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Production Painter to support industrial painting and finishing operations. This role is responsible for preparing surfaces, mixing and applying coatings, operating painting equipment, and assembling finished products while maintaining high quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare metal surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, grinding, masking, and performing other surface preparation activities.
- Mix paints, primers, hardeners, and coatings according to manufacturer specifications.
- Apply industrial coatings using spray guns, pressure pots, brushes, rollers, and other painting equipment.
- Prime and paint agricultural, dairy, industrial, and commercial equipment manufactured by Seneca Dairy Systems.
- Prepare, prime, and paint snow pushers, buckets, attachments, and other products manufactured by ZM Industries.
- Ensure proper coating thickness, coverage, color consistency, and finish quality.
- Perform touch-up painting and repairs as needed.
- Apply decals, labels, and identification markings when required.
- Inspect completed products to verify quality standards are met prior to shipment.
- Maintain paint booth equipment, spray guns, compressors, and related tools.
- Monitor paint inventory and notify supervisors when supplies require replenishment.
- Follow all OSHA, environmental, and company safety regulations regarding paint handling, storage, and disposal.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Assist other production departments as workload demands.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to improve quality and efficiency.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Ability to adjust pressure and flow on pressure pot systems
- Moderate understanding of industrial painting and finishing processes
- Ability to lift heavy items as required
- Experience using hand and power tools
- Familiarity with and adherence to safety requirements and protocols
Physical & Work Environment Requirements
Ability to stand for extended periods, lift and move parts, operate painting and material-handling equipment, and work in a manufacturing environment.
