Cardiology practice hiring for medical assistant.
Contract to hire (600 probatonary hours to perm hire)
Hours: M-F 8a-5p no weekends most holidays off

Must have EKG experience!

Job Responsibilities:

• Measure Vital Signs
• Greet and Room Patients
• Preparing rooms for patients to be seen
• Answering phones and screening patients
• Reviewing Medication Records
• Updating patient information EMR (Athena)
• Maintaining supplies and equipment
• Sterilizing Instruments

Requirements:

• EKG experience
• At least 1 recent year as a medical assistant
• Medical assistant certification, associate's degree, registration or diploma
• Athena experience a plus but any EMR is fine
