Position Overview
We are seeking a Senior BIM Specialist to join our in-office team in Plano, TX. This is not an entry-level role. We are looking for someone who can step in and contribute immediately with strong technical ability and relevant industry experience.
In this role, you will be responsible for developing and coordinating detailed Revit models for façade systems, supporting project execution, and working closely with engineering, drafting, project management, and field teams. A high level of accuracy, ownership, and problem-solving is expected.
Key Responsibilities
*Develop detailed and accurate Revit models for curtain wall and façade systems
*Perform material takeoffs and quantity tracking
*Coordinate with project managers, engineers, drafters, and shop/field teams to resolve design and constructability issues
*Use Autodesk Revit and Autodesk Build to manage and share model data
*Interpret architectural, structural, and shop drawings
*Support coordination across all project phases, from preconstruction through installation
*Develop and maintain parametric BIM families specific to glazing systems
*Assist with model coordination and clash detection
*Support fabrication-driven modeling and documentation
*Help improve internal BIM workflows and standards
Qualifications
*Bachelor’s degree in architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
*3+ years of hands-on Autodesk Revit experience (high proficiency required)
*Required: Experience in glass and glazing/curtain wall industry
*Strong understanding of façade systems, shop drawings, and fabrication processes
*Experience with parametric modeling and family creation
*Familiarity with Autodesk Build
*Ability to read and interpret construction documents at a high level
*Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
*Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
*Strong communication and coordination skills
