Service Cashier / Automotive Customer Service

Cornerstone Staffing is seeking a friendly, organized, and detail-oriented Service Cashier to join the team at a premier local automotive dealership in Elk Grove, CA. As the final point of contact for service center guests, you will play a crucial role in delivering an exceptional, stress-free customer experience. What You Will Do (Responsibilities):

• Process Payments: Calculate final bills, apply service coupons, and securely handle cash, check, and credit card transactions.
• Financial Accountability: Balance the cash drawer accurately at the start and end of each shift.
• Customer Care: Greet guests warmly, explain final invoices clearly, and handle inquiries with a helpful attitude.
• Key & Vehicle Coordination: Securely manage customer keys and coordinate with service porters to ensure vehicles are brought up promptly.
• Administrative Support: Answer incoming service phone calls, schedule courtesy shuttle rides, and file/scan repair orders

What We Are Looking For (Requirements):

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of cashiering, retail, or customer service experience (automotive dealership experience is a major plus!).
• Strong basic math skills and experience handling cash.
• Excellent communication skills and a professional appearance.
• Ability to multitask in a busy environment.
• Proficiency with basic computer systems (experience with dealership software like Reynolds & Reynolds or CDK is a plus).

Schedule:

• Full-time.
• 5 days a week, scheduled between Monday and Saturday.
• Shift: 9:30 AM – 6:30 PM (with occasional morning/opening shifts required).
