Machine Operator

We are seeking an experienced Machine Operator with strong manual machining experience for a direct hire opportunity in a manufacturing environment. Ideal candidates will have experience reading blueprints, operating machine shop equipment, and maintaining quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

✅ Perform repetitive machine operations including cutting, shaping, deburring, drilling, reaming, forming, and smoothing parts
✅ Rework and finish machined parts as needed
✅ Align and fasten parts using standard fixtures and tooling
✅ Inspect parts visually and with gauges/measuring tools for quality compliance
✅ Remove burrs, sharp edges, cracks, and irregularities from machined parts
✅ Perform SPC (Statistical Process Control) requirements accurately
✅ Read and use analog/digital measuring tools, comparators, and profilometers
✅ Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas
✅ Follow all manufacturing safety and quality procedures

Required Qualifications:

✔ High School Diploma or GED
✔ Minimum 2 years of machine shop or related machining experience
✔ Manual machining experience required
✔ Strong ability to read and understand blueprints (Required)
✔ Manual dexterity and strong attention to detail
✔ Working knowledge of machine shop mathematics
✔ Effective English communication skills
✔ Team-oriented mindset

Preferred Qualifications:

➕ Strong lathe experience
