Landscaper Crew Member

Responsibilities

• Perform lawn maintenance tasks including some push mowing, edging, line trimming, weeding, mulching, debris removal and blowing down properties.
• All aspects of spring and fall clean ups
• Maintain landscapes through pruning, tree trimming, planting, and basic garden care
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and equipment such as commercial back pack blowers, line trimmers, power washers, push mowers.
• Assist or (if you have the knowledge) hardscape construction including patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other stone or concrete features
• Assit with Irrigation system installation, start ups, winter blow outs and repair
• basic customer service skills, we service residential and commercial properties, interating with customers can happen.

What Seacoast is looking for in a crew member

• Any experience with the above mentioned responsibilities for residential and commercial lawn maintenance a plus and will be taken into account for pay.
• Ability to operate hand tools (shovels, rakes), power tools (trimmers, blowers) safely and effectively
• Basic weed control knowledge, for example, knowing what is a weed versus a new perenial growth or the planting of a new annual plant.
• The physical capability to perform above responsibilities for 40 hours a week, including working during minor weather events like rain.
• Basic customer service skills if a customer approaches you on site, respect and politeness is mandatory.
• Drivers License and transportation to the shop in Salisbury Ma
• Dependability

What the Job includes

• Pay rate based off of experience and any licenses that you hold, for example Hoising License or DOT Certified. as well as Evaluation in the field during your first period with the company.
