Physician Credentialing Specialist

Hybrid Temporary F/T Physician Credentialing Coordinator, Mt. Sinai Hospital Chicago, IL

Our client, an ACO, located on the near west side of Chicago, is seeking to hire an experienced hybrid temporary full-time Physician Credentialing Coordinator.

This position is a hybrid, partially remote position working onsite in the office on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, and then on Mondays and Fridays from home.

The Credentialing Coordinator is part of a Credentialing Team that is involved with credentialing a total of 500 physicians.

Job Responsibilities

·        Perform full cycle of credentialing for physicians.

·        Work with health plans to report the required credentialing information.

Job Requirements

·        Minimum of an Associate’s Degree

·        At least 3 years’ experience in credentialing physicians.

·        Accustomed to using credentialing software like CAQH Proview Software.

·        Knowledge of how to submit credentialing information to health plans and payers

·        Knowledge of the health care industry, health plan, NCQA, MSO, CMS, and Federal regulations.

·        Proficient in computer skills: MS Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
