Boat Sport Marina – Eagle River, WI

Boat Sport Marina is a full-service, family-owned boat and snowmobile dealership that has proudly served Northern Wisconsin for over 30 years. We are growing and looking to add a full-time Marine Technician to our award-winning service team.

We are especially interested in experienced automotive and diesel technicians who are looking to transition into the marine industry.

What You’ll Work On

• Mercury Outboards & MerCruiser engines
• Boat electrical systems (bilge pumps, charging systems, steering systems)
• Electronics installation and diagnostics
• Rigging new boats and accessory installs
• Snowmobile service and repair (Arctic Cat experience a plus)
• General marine maintenance and troubleshooting

Qualifications

• Experience as an automotive or diesel technician preferred
• Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills
• Electrical troubleshooting experience
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Marine experience is NOT required — we will train

Important Pay Structure

Boat Sport Marina does NOT pay flat rate.
We offer hourly pay based on experience and skill level, providing consistent income year-round regardless of billed hours. This eliminates the pressure of flat-rate fluctuations and allows technicians to focus on quality work instead of speed.
