Carpenter Apprentice

Overview:

Jacobson Construction is a growing cabinetry installation company based in Idaho Falls, ID. Our primary focus is luxury residential homes throughout Southeast ID and Western WY. We hold ourselves to the highest standards of quality, communication, and honesty.

We are currently seeking a driven individual who shares our commitment to delivering exceptional services for our clients.

As an apprentice you will be responsible for:

• Assisting the lead carpenter in cabinet layout, preparing rooms and components, installation of cabinetry, and final details.
• Providing and maintaining a clean jobsite.
• Inventory management and restocking.
• Maintenance of machinery and tools.
• Preparing and securing tools.

What you will be learning:

• How to read and interpret CAD drawings.
• Problem solving and adapting to complex challenges.
• How to safely operate and maintain woodworking equipment.

Requirements for this position:

• Must be over the age of 18.
• Must be willing to travel. Most job sites are located in Teton Valley/Jackson Hole WY.
• Physical ability to lift and maneuver heavy cabinetry and machinery.
• Ability to work in varying job site conditions.
