Location: Katy, TX
Pay Rate: $29.00–$32.00 per hour

Key Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality diagnostic X-ray examinations while adhering to established imaging protocols.
- Position patients accurately to obtain clear, diagnostic-quality images.
- Educate patients on imaging procedures in a professional, calm, and reassuring manner.
- Prepare imaging equipment and examination rooms for daily operations.
- Monitor patients throughout imaging procedures to ensure comfort and safety.
- Submit completed imaging studies for provider review.
- Administer prescribed radiation doses in accordance with safety standards and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain equipment functionality and troubleshoot minor operational issues when necessary.
- Follow all radiation safety, infection control, and patient privacy guidelines.
- Collaborate with providers and clinical staff to support efficient patient flow in a high-volume setting.
Qualifications Required
- Current Texas Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT) License.
- Current ARRT Certification.
- Associate degree or technical degree from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Strong knowledge of radiographic positioning, radiation safety, and imaging best practices.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Preferred
- At least one year of professional X-ray or radiologic technology experience.
- Experience in orthopedic, sports medicine, urgent care, or high-volume outpatient settings.
- Experience working with patients who have limited mobility or complex positioning requirements.
- Familiarity with Epic or similar electronic medical record (EMR) systems.
- Strong attention to detail, adaptability, and commitment to exceptional patient care.
Schedule
- Monday through Friday schedule.
- Standard clinic hours with rotating early and late shifts among the radiology team.
- No overnight shifts.
