This role supports a large-scale commercial remodel in a high-volume distribution warehouse, focusing on tenant improvements and extensive electrical upgrades. You will help install and upgrade power distribution, lighting, HVAC controls, refrigeration power, and data infrastructure to support robotics, automation, and employee workstations in a modern warehouse environment.
Responsibilities
- Support higher-level electricians on a commercial tenant improvement project within an existing shell building.
- Run large electrical conduit up to 4 inches to support power distribution and automation systems.
- Run circuits to panels and install lines for subpanels to ensure reliable power distribution.
- Set up power distribution systems to support warehouse lighting and other electrical loads.
- Lay out and install conduit, wiring, junction boxes, and panels based on blueprints and NEC code requirements.
- Cut, bend, thread, and run electrical conduit materials using appropriate tools and methods.
- Pull electrical wiring through conduit to feed panels, equipment, and devices throughout the facility.
- Terminate electrical panels and set fixtures, outlets, and various electrical devices in accordance with code and project specifications.
- Install and connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, outlets, and other components and systems.
- Assist with electrical systems that support robotics, lighting, HVAC controls, refrigeration power, and data/network cabling infrastructure.
- Provide direction and basic oversight to one or more apprentices, ensuring safe and efficient task execution when needed.
- Work efficiently on a 6-day work schedule, maintaining productivity and safety in a fast-paced commercial construction environment.
- Hands-on experience in electrical work within commercial construction environments.
- Proficiency in running and installing large conduit systems, including conduit up to 4 inches.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and apply NEC code requirements in the field.
- Skilled in cutting, bending, threading, and installing electrical conduit.
- Experience pulling electrical wiring through conduit for panels, subpanels, and equipment.
- Experience terminating electrical panels and installing fixtures, outlets, and electrical devices.
- Ability to install and connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, outlets, and other electrical components.
- Capability to support power distribution systems for lighting, robotics, HVAC controls, refrigeration power, and data infrastructure.
- Readiness to work 6 days per week on 10-hour shifts, including early morning start times.
- Ability to arrive fully prepared and hit the ground running with personal tools suitable for commercial electrical work.
- Active ET card is a plus.
- Scissor lift certification is a plus.
- Prior experience working in large warehouse or distribution center environments is beneficial.
- Experience supporting or mentoring apprentices on job sites is advantageous.
- Familiarity with tenant improvement projects and shell building upgrades is helpful.

Work Environment
The role is based inside a large distribution center warehouse undergoing a commercial remodel and tenant improvement project. Work includes installation and upgrades to power distribution, lighting, HVAC controls, refrigeration power, and data and network cabling to support robotics, automation, and employee workstations. The schedule follows a 6-day workweek with 10-hour shifts, starting at approximately 5:00 a.m., providing about 20 hours of overtime weekly. Work is performed indoors, reducing weather-related interruptions and allowing for consistent productivity. Electricians are expected to arrive with their own tools and be ready to contribute immediately in a professional commercial construction setting, which may include working at heights and operating around lifts and other construction equipment.
