This role involves assembling front-end loader and smaller tractor equipment in a fast-paced production environment. You will work with hand and power tools, follow blueprints and work orders, and ensure that assembled units meet quality and safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Position parts accurately according to knowledge of the unit being assembled or by reading and interpreting blueprints.
- Assemble and fasten parts together using bolts, screws, speed clips, rivets, or other fasteners with appropriate hand tools.
- Remove small quantities of metal to achieve precise fits between parts and ensure proper alignment.
- Operate and tend machines that perform force fitting or fastening operations as specified by work instructions.
- Follow all safety procedures, maintain a strong safety mindset, and use tools and equipment correctly.
- Keep the work area clean and organized throughout the shift, performing all basic housekeeping duties as there are no dedicated cleaners.
- Follow detailed instructions and work orders to meet production goals and quality requirements.
- Work efficiently in a fast-paced assembly line environment and maintain a steady production pace.
- Remain flexible and open to performing additional tasks or roles as requested by supervisors or managers outside typical assembly duties.
- Perform occasional lifting and other physical tasks as required by the position.
- 1–2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in assembly.
- 1–2 years of experience in an assembly manufacturing environment.
- Mechanical aptitude and comfort working with hand tools.
- Proficiency using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and work orders accurately.
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.
- Strong safety awareness and commitment to safe work practices.
- Ability to maintain a clean and organized work area throughout the shift.
- Experience in mechanical assembly or production assembly is highly beneficial.
- Comfort working with assembly line processes and production schedules.
- Willingness to learn new tasks and adapt to different roles within the production area.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure precise fits and quality assemblies.
- Reliability and punctuality to support consistent production schedules.

Work Environment
This position is based in a climate-controlled, very clean manufacturing facility focused on assembling front-end loader and smaller tractor equipment. The typical schedule runs from 5:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday, with potential work on Fridays as needed, which can provide a three-day weekend when additional hours are not required. You will work in a fast-paced production setting, using hand tools, power tools, and assembly line equipment while standing, moving, and handling parts throughout the shift. The environment emphasizes safety, cleanliness, and teamwork, with employees expected to maintain their own work areas and participate actively in housekeeping and organization.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
