This position offers a hands-on material handling role in a large warehouse environment that combines indoor and outdoor work. The warehouse worker will handle a variety of tasks including loading and unloading trailers, operating forklifts and pallet jacks, and performing order picking and packing while ensuring accuracy of materials and documentation.
Responsibilities
- Load and unload trailers safely and efficiently using a sit-down forklift and pallet jack.
- Handle and move materials throughout the warehouse, including lifting items up to 50 lbs.
- Perform order picking, packing, and packaging tasks to fulfill customer orders accurately.
- Use an RF scanner to locate, pick, and track inventory and shipments.
- Operate a sit-down forklift to load and unload materials and move products to designated storage locations.
- Use a pallet jack to transport materials within the warehouse and staging areas.
- Assist with shipping activities, including preparing orders for shipment and staging outbound loads.
- Perform warehouse inventory tasks, including counting, organizing, and maintaining stock levels.
- Examine materials to confirm they match records such as manifests, invoices, and orders for accuracy.
- Follow safety procedures and warehouse guidelines while working in both indoor and outdoor areas.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including storage, loading, and staging zones.
- At least 6 months of sit-down forklift experience.
- At least 6 months of pallet jack experience.
- At least 6 months of picking, packing, and shipping experience.
- Ability to safely lift and move items up to 50 lbs.
- Experience loading and unloading trailers.
- Proficiency operating a sit-down forklift in a warehouse environment.
- Experience using a pallet jack for material handling.
- Order picking and packing experience in a warehouse setting.
- Familiarity with RF scanners for picking, packing, and inventory tracking.
- Material handling experience in a warehouse or similar environment.
- Ability to verify materials against manifests, invoices, and orders for accuracy.
- Experience working in a large warehouse environment.
- Comfort working in a hybrid indoor and outdoor setting.
- Experience with warehouse inventory tasks such as counting and organizing stock.
- Ability to follow safety procedures and warehouse operating guidelines.
- Strong attention to detail when verifying materials and documentation.
- Ability to maintain an organized work area in a fast-paced environment.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $39520.00 - $43680.00/yr.
