Pay Rate & Shift details:
1st Shift (6am - 2:30pm $20.82/hr.)
2nd Shift (4:30pm - 1am $21.82/hr.)
Working days: Monday - Friday

JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Will perform a variety of jobs fitting together manufactured and purchased parts into subassemblies or complete products.
- These products can be mechanical, electrical or a combination of both.
- This individual will have the opportunity to acquire the skills necessary to advance to the Advanced Assembler #1 classification.
Essential Functions:
- Read and understand blue prints and routings to produce parts from them to the required specifications.
- Responsible for the quality of the assemblies produced. Perform first piece inspection and subsequent inspections to ensure overall quality.
- Responsible for the care of routine maintenance and keeping the work area neat and clean.
- Follow all rules regarding machine operation and machine guarding.
- Maintain simple reports on productivity, quality and safety.
Qualifications:
- Possess the skill and ability to assemble manufactured and purchased parts into subassemblies or complete products.
- Must be equipped with all the required tools to perform the functions of their job. (Tools provided by the site.)
- Able to operate assembly equipment such as rivet machines, assembly presses and power tools.
- Physical ability to do work requiring frequent standing, sitting and bending, as well as pushing, pulling and lifting up to 30 lbs. frequently.
- Sufficient reading and writing ability to follow work order instructions and prepare simple production reports.
- Sufficient visual acuity (corrected) to read instructions, operate machines and inspect parts.
- Sufficient manual dexterity to operate the equipment properly.
