Job Description
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

In this assignment, you’ll be based in one school near Central Falls, RI, working alongside a dedicated staff. The position welcomes candidates holding a mild-moderate or severe special education license in RI or MA, with an emphasis on ongoing professional development—significant training will be provided as part of the upcoming school year to ensure your continued success. Remote interviews are conducted via Zoom, providing a welcoming and convenient introduction to the district.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Current special education license in Rhode Island or Massachusetts (mild-moderate or severe)
- Experience or interest in working with elementary students in grades 3–4
- Enthusiasm for supporting learners with developmental disabilities
- Strong communication and adaptability skills
- Dedication to collaborative, student-centered approaches
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Teach and support elementary-aged students (grades 3–4) with developmental disabilities
- Create and implement individualized lesson plans to meet diverse learning needs
- Collaborate with TAs and school staff in a 1:3 classroom setting
- Participate in training and ongoing professional development
- Engage with families and guardians, supporting student progress and inclusion
