Job Title: Order Selector
Job Description
This role focuses on accurately selecting and staging orders in a cold-chain warehouse environment while safely operating high reach and stand up forklifts from day one. You will load and unload trailers, manually build pallets, and support both receiving and outbound operations as the facility transitions from paper pick sheets to electronic systems and RF scanners.
Responsibilities
- Select customer orders accurately using paper pick sheets and prepare them for shipment.
- Operate a high reach forklift safely and efficiently from the first day on the job.
- Use a stand up forklift and pallet jacks to move pallets and materials throughout the warehouse.
- Manually build and load pallets by hand, ensuring loads are stable, accurate, and secure.
- Load and unload trailers, including receiving inbound materials and staging outbound orders.
- Put away inbound materials into the correct warehouse locations to support efficient order picking.
- Perform manual case picking by using a forklift to bring pallets into aisles and filling empty pallets by hand.
- Stage completed orders in designated areas to be loaded onto trucks in the correct sequence.
- Operate RF scanners and electronic picking systems as the facility transitions from paper-based processes.
- Assist with basic inventory-related tasks such as locating, counting, and verifying products as needed.
- Work across all warehouse sections, including freezer, refrigerator, and ambient areas, as assigned.
- Follow all safety procedures, equipment operating guidelines, and warehouse housekeeping standards.
- Adapt to changing workload demands and support a growing operation with a team-oriented mindset.
Work Environment
The warehouse is clean, organized, and operates as a cold-chain facility with multiple temperature zones. Approximately 15% of the building is a freezer area at around 0 degrees, about 20% is refrigerated, and the remaining space is an ambient warehouse kept at roughly 60–65 degrees due to cooling from the other sections.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.25 - $19.25/hr.
