Food Service Worker (Cook) Paid weekly!Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Food Service Worker (Cook) to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently preparing, cooking, portioning, and presenting a variety of hot and cold food items. Meals will be prepared for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and occasional catered events while maintaining high standards of quality and food safety.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a variety of hot and cold food items for daily meal service
• Ensure food presentation is appealing and meets established quality standards
• Portion food accurately according to guidelines and dietary requirements
• Assist with food preparation and presentation for special or catered events
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment
• Follow all food safety and health regulations
• Provide friendly and professional customer service when interacting with guests

Required Skills

• 1–2 years of cooking or food preparation experience
• Basic knowledge of food handling and preparation techniques
• Strong attention to detail and consistency
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Good customer service and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience as a line cook
• Experience working in a cafeteria, healthcare, or high-volume kitchen
• Familiarity with food safety standards and procedures

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $13.00 - $15.00/hr.
