School Psychologist – Full-Time Contract | Porterville, CA

We are seeking a qualified and dedicated School Psychologist for a full-time, school-based contract opportunity in Porterville, California. This position is a maternity leave coverage assignment with the potential for extension based on district needs.

Position Details

• Position: School Psychologist

• Location: Porterville, CA

• Schedule: Full-Time, 37.5 Hours per Week

• Hours: Monday – Friday

• Assignment Dates: August 12, 2026 – September 23, 2026

• Compensation: $57–$65 per hour

• Assignment Type: Maternity Leave Coverage (Potential to Extend)

Caseload & Responsibilities

• Provide psychological services to students in grades K–12

• Conduct psychoeducational assessments and evaluations

• Interpret assessment results and prepare comprehensive reports

• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions

• Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to support student success

• Provide consultation regarding academic, behavioral, social, and emotional needs

• Assist with intervention planning and special education eligibility processes

• May require coverage across two school sites

Qualifications

• Active School Psychologist licensure/certification in California

• Previous school-based experience preferred

• Strong assessment, report writing, and consultation skills

• Ability to manage a diverse K–12 caseload

• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
