Facilities Maintenance Technician

Job Summary W e are seeking a Facilities Support professional to provide preventative and reactive maintenance on facilities equipment and grounds, with limited support for manufacturing equipment. This role will ensure the upkeep of facility systems, safety compliance, and coordination with vendors to maintain a safe and efficient work environment. Key Responsibilities Perfo rm preventative and reactive maintenance on facilities equipment and grounds Conduct limited preventative and reactive maintenance on manufacturing equipment Carry out routine inspections of fire safety systems, facility structures, and grounds Perform basic carpentry and maintenance of the facility’s physical structure Coordinate with vendors on contracted work and oversee completion Troubleshoot and repair basic electrical, plumbing, wall, and floor issues Safely utilize ladders and lifts for maintenance tasks Apply knowledge of health and safety regulations and industrial standards (NFPA, DOT, ANSI, OSHA, etc.) Use computer systems and MS Office applications o support maintenance activities Required Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, or 2 years post-secondary/Associate’s Degree with 2 years of related experience Ability to develop job knowledge and technical skills Proficient computer skills, including MS Office Exp erience using a facility and equipment CMMS (e.g., Faciliworks) OSHA, NFPA, EPA, or other related education/professional credentials HVAC experience is required. Plumbing, or Electrical certifications Certifications (if any) OSHA, NFPA, EPA, or trade certifications (preferred but not required ) Education: High School Certification: Electrical Certification
