Job Title: Customer Account Representative
Job Description

The Customer Account Representative is responsible for addressing and resolving customer issues while generating product and service orders. This role requires partnering with customers to provide expertise in resolving complex issues and ensuring compliance with company guidelines, policies, and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer service through effective communication, problem resolution, and quick turnaround.
  • Resolve complex customer issues and maintain comprehensive knowledge of account information.
  • Ensure customer complaints are resolved effectively in compliance with consumer laws, company policy, and procedures.
  • Collaborate with various departments to meet customer needs and maintain outstanding customer relations.
  • Utilize internal systems to organize and manage customer information.
  • Develop improvement plans in response to customer surveys and industry trends.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to resolve and close actions within the web database portal, ensuring compliance with company procedures.
  • Consistently exercise independent judgment in customer service.
  • Manage orders, timelines, pricing, and quoting for multiple customers.
Essential Skills
  • 2-3 years of experience working with multiple customers managing orders, timelines, pricing, and quoting.
  • Daily use of ERP and CRM systems.
  • Attention to detail and timely email communication follow-up.
  • Proficiency in aerospace industry standards.
  • Experience with SAP or comparable ERP systems.
  • Thorough understanding of standard customer account concepts and practices.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Applications and database management tools.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with others and ensure accountability to drive results.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Salesforce CRM experience is preferred.
  • A Secondary Certificate/High School Diploma is required; a post-secondary degree is a plus.
  • 2-4 years of relevant experience; aerospace industry experience is a plus.
Work Environment

Work within a global aerospace engineering and manufacturing company in a clean, organized, and cellular production environment. Light technical work environment with significant production and testing machinery. The position is desk-based on the shop floor, providing opportunities to work closely with production and testing teams.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Portland, OR.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $30.00/hr.
