Position Summary

The Production Associate is responsible for supporting the manufacturing and packaging process by inspecting product quality, operating and supplying packaging equipment, preparing finished goods for shipment, and maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient work environment. This role ensures products meet company quality, safety, and food safety standards while contributing to daily production goals.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Inspect finished products for leaks, damaged packaging, improper seals, labeling errors, and other quality defects.
• Remove defective products from the production line and perform rework or repackaging as needed.
• Feed packaging materials into automated equipment and assist with operating labelers, printers, case packers, and other production machinery.
• Stack finished product cases on pallets and prepare products for shipment.
• Monitor product quality throughout the production process and report issues to supervisors.
• Maintain accurate records of rejected, reworked, or damaged products as required.
• Clean production equipment and maintain a safe, organized, and sanitary work area.
• Follow all company safety, sanitation, quality, and food safety procedures.
• Support general production operations and work collaboratively to achieve daily production targets.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous manufacturing, production, or warehouse experience is a plus but not required.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Dependable attendance and punctuality.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods during the shift.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks in a fast-paced production environment.
• Ability to safely work around production equipment and machinery.

Work Environment

• Food and beverage manufacturing facility.
• Exposure to production equipment, noise, and varying temperatures.
• Required use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to all company safety and food safety standards.
