American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) position requiring telemetry skills, Epic experience, and an active IL RN license.
Details- Progressive Care Unit (PCU) in a hospital setting
- Patient population includes telemetry, cardiac monitoring, COPD, CAD, CHF, AFib, sepsis, and COVID cases
- Skills utilized include cardiac drips, bedside cardioversion, chest tubes, IV insertion, and emergency response
- Uses Epic EMR (experience required)
- Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- 13-week contract
- Active IL RN license required
- Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
- Minimum 1 year of PCU or relevant RN experience required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Proficiency in telemetry, cardiac monitoring, chest tube management, IV insertion, cardiac drips, and bedside cardioversion
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- Navy scrubs required
- Candidates must reside more than 70 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
- 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
