American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Inpatient Rehabilitation (IRF) position in Springfield, MO, requiring floor nursing experience and AHA-certified BLS for a 13-week day shift contract.
Details- Inpatient rehabilitation facility (IRF) setting on the main floor with 60 beds
- Adult patient population recovering from strokes, brain or spinal cord injuries, amputations, and complex orthopedic injuries
- Patient ratio of 7:1
- Day shift schedule: 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM
- 36 hours per week with variable weekend hours, working every other weekend
- No on-call or float requirements
- EMR systems used: Epic and UDS
- Equipment includes workstations on wheels and patient lifts
- Active MO RN license or compact RN license required
- Current AHA BLS certification required
- Minimum 2 years of floor nursing experience required
- Associate's degree in nursing (ADN) or higher required
- Rehab nursing experience preferred but not required
- Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration
- Candidate's permanent address must be located more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
- Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
- Candidates who are employed full-time elsewhere are not eligible
- Black scrubs are required
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply, as rehab nursing experience is preferred but not required
