American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Critical Care Unit position requiring ICU experience, including post-cath patient care, with Epic EMR proficiency and prior travel experience preferred.

- Acuity adaptable critical care unit — not a traditional, pure ICU environment \n
- Patient population includes post-cath patients requiring specialized cardiac monitoring and intervention \n
- Experience with CRRT, balloon pump, Swan-Ganz catheters, PA catheters, and sheath pulls is relevant to this unit \n
- Epic EMR used in this setting \n
- Day shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM \n
- 13-week contract \n
- Every other weekend (EOW) and every other holiday (EOH) required \n
- Floating may be required within skill set, either within the facility or to other sites within a 40-mile radius \n

- Active WI RN license or compact RN license currently in hand \n
- Current certifications required: BLS (AHA), ACLS (AHA), and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) \n
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required \n
- ICU experience required, including experience with post-cath patients \n
- CRRT experience required; balloon pump and Swan experience are a plus \n
- Competency in sheath pulls and PA catheters required \n
- Epic EMR experience required \n
- Prior travel nursing experience preferred \n
- Must possess a US Social Security Number and provide a valid US home address \n
- Required documents for consideration: full SSN, full DOB, skills checklist, 2 professional references, copies of certifications, license verification/Nursys, and a copy of Driver's License \n

- This is an acuity adaptable unit, meaning nurses may care for patients across varying acuity levels rather than a strictly defined ICU population \n
- Local candidates are accepted; however, candidates living within the state-specific radius will be offered a reduced pay rate \n
- COVID vaccination is not required for this position \n
