Malone Healthcare - Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Blanding, Utah.
Job Description & Requirements- Specialty: Labor and Delivery

- Duration: 13 weeks
- 36 hours per week
- Shift: 10 hours, nights
- Employment Type: Travel
L&D RN – Travel Contract
🏥 Unit: Labor & Delivery / Mother-Baby / Postpartum / OB
🕒 Shift: 12-Hour Shifts
Required Certifications✅ BLS
✅ NRP
✅ Fetal Monitoring Certification
Unit Details- 3 L&D Beds
- Postpartum patients stay in-room
- 2 overflow postpartum rooms
- Approximately 120–130 births annually
- Fetal Monitoring System: PeriCalm
- EMR: Athena
- Shared CNA support between Med/Surg and L&D
- Family Practice physicians manage OB patients
- No in-house OB or Neonatologist
- CRNA utilized when respiratory support is needed
- On-call pharmacy services
⚠️ Must be willing and able to float to Med/Surg when needed
⚠️ Low-volume OB department requiring flexibility
Scrub Color- Any solid color scrubs
✔ Recent Labor & Delivery experience
✔ Comfortable caring for Labor, Delivery, Mother-Baby, and Postpartum patients
✔ Flexible with floating to Med/Surg
✔ Comfortable working in a small community hospital environment
