Welder
Thomasville, GA | $15.00 - $20.00 / Hour
A well-established machine company is looking for a welder to be responsible for precision welding a variety of stainless steel and aluminum machinery. You must be a hardworking professional who likes meeting challenges and surpassing client expectations. To excel in this role, you should have in-depth knowledge of welding machinery and a steady hand. For over 40 years, this company has been serving clients
Responsibilities
- Mig and Tig welding machinery
- Use specialized machinery for industrial welding and oversee machines that perform the same job
- Assess welded surfaces, structures and components to identify errors
- Complete additional tasks as requested
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Be dependable and punctual
- Previous MIG and TIG welding
- Pass a MIG and TIG welding test
- Stand for long periods of time
- Have a reliable form of transportation
- Lift and move 50 pounds periodically
- Have a clean background check
- Wear PPE, including steel toed boots and a helmet
- Have attention to detail
- Work well in a non-conditioned warehouse
- Have a clean drug screen
- Multitask and time manage well
Location: Thomasville, Georgia
Pay Rate: $15.00 - $20.00 / Hour
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM. May come in at 6 AM soemtimes
