Position Type: Full-Time
Experience Levels: Junior (2+ years) | Mid-Level | Senior (Group Lead)
Compensation: $120,000 – $200,000+ Base (Junior) | Mid & Senior open and highly competitive based on experience | Top-tier discretionary December bonus (exceeding market scales).
About UsWe are a premier, rapidly expanding nationwide plaintiff-side litigation firm that has more than doubled in size to over 110 professionals. We don’t take individual cases; we focus exclusively on high-impact, high-stakes class actions and mass torts. Despite our hyper-growth, we have maintained an exceptionally low attrition rate by prioritizing a close-knit, collaborative, and rewarding firm culture.
We don't believe in leaving our attorneys on an island. Our legal teams are backed by an elite, dedicated infrastructure—including an in-house discovery department, a robust class-member outreach call center, a dedicated intake team, and comprehensive paralegal/docketing support.
Due to an influx of new business, we are looking for talented, collaborative, and driven California-licensed attorneys to join our ranks across three core practice areas: Wage & Hour Class Actions (PAGA/FLSA), Mass Torts, and Antitrust/Consumer Protection.
Opportunities AvailableWe are scaling across multiple experience levels. Whether you are looking to sharpen your teeth under elite mentorship or bring over/build a team of your own, we have a seat for you.
Junior Associates (2+ Years Experience): Ideal for candidates with at least 1 year of hands-on litigation experience (Wage & Hour, Mass Tort, or Antitrust preferred). You will take and defend depositions, draft compelling briefs, and be systematically trained to manage a caseload of 30–50 files. (Note: This role is not suitable for recent law school graduates; minimum 2 years of practice required).
Mid-Level Associates: Perfect for attorney champions ready to independently manage cases, argue motions in court, lead depositions, and mentor junior staff within a collaborative team environment.
Senior Attorneys / Team Leads: Designed for seasoned litigators with extensive trial and team management experience. You will spearhead your own dedicated group (4–5 attorneys and a dedicated paralegal), delegate work, drive strategy, and move cases efficiently. We are also aggressively exploring practice group/team acquisitions—if you have an existing team or department looking to transition into a hyper-growth environment, we want to talk to you.
Brief Writing & Argument Development: Conduct thorough research of case law and statutes to formulate innovative, persuasive legal arguments. Draft clear, concise, and meticulous legal briefs.
Litigation Support: Take and defend depositions, argue at hearings, and participate in trials (commensurate with experience level).
Case Management: Manage or co-manage a dynamic portfolio of 30 to 50 active plaintiff class action/mass tort files nationwide.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with department heads, junior attorneys, and support staff. Seniors will actively manage and develop junior/mid-level talent.
Active membership in good standing with the State Bar of California is strictly required.
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of civil litigation experience (Plaintiff-side experience is highly preferred; mixed plaintiff/defense backgrounds will be considered).
Subject Matter: Proven exposure to at least one of our core areas: Wage & Hour (OT, misclassification, PAGA, FLSA), Mass Torts, or Antitrust/Consumer class actions.
Exceptional Writing Skills: A proven track record of sophisticated legal writing and rigorous attention to citation/formatting detail.
Culture Fit: You are a communicative team player who is easy to talk to, values a close-knit office dynamic, and thrives under pressure without losing your sense of humor.
We take care of our people. Our retention rate has surged by 30% over the last three years because we genuinely reward hard work and foster internal upward mobility.
Top-of-Market Compensation: Competitive base salaries with a discretionary December bonus structure trending well above traditional market scales.
Premium Benefits: Comprehensive Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance.
Retirement: 401(k) plan with a robust firm match.
Work-Life Balance: 20 days of rolling PTO (no "use-it-or-lose-it" policy; unused time pays out) plus 12 paid holidays.
Perks & Tech: Home internet and mobile stipends, wellness membership allowances, company-provided top-tier tech setup (laptops, monitors, etc.), and regular firm-wide engagement competitions with fun rewards and gift cards.
Elite Training: A structured, immersive 2-week internal training program with 1-on-1 time with department heads before you ever touch a case file.
Please submit your resume along with two (2) recent writing samples (such as briefs or substantive motions you have authored) that showcase your analytical ability and legal prose.
