Worship Pastor

Position Summary

The Worship Pastor will provide spiritual and creative leadership for all worship ministries of the church. This individual will cultivate a Christ-centered worship culture, lead worship services, develop volunteers, and work closely with church leadership to support the church's vision and mission.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and lead worship services for Sunday gatherings and special events.
• Recruit, train, and disciple worship team members and volunteers.
• Coordinate musicians, vocalists, and production teams.
• Select songs and create worship sets that align with sermon themes and church values.
• Oversee worship ministry scheduling and rehearsals.
• Collaborate with pastors and ministry leaders on church-wide initiatives.
• Maintain and oversee worship equipment and technology.
• Foster spiritual growth and community within the worship ministry team.

Qualifications

• A committed follower of Jesus Christ with a strong personal faith and Christian character.
• Agreement with the church's statement of faith and core values.
• Minimum of 3 years of worship leadership experience.
• Strong vocal and instrumental abilities.
• Experience leading and developing volunteer teams.
• Knowledge of worship planning software and presentation tools such as Planning Center and ProPresenter.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Ministry, Worship, Music, or a related field.
• Experience in a multi-generational church environment.
• Familiarity with audio, lighting, and livestream technologies.
