The Arc Oneida-Lewis is seeking a Per Diem Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to join our Community and Family Services team! ABOUT THE ROLE:

As a Per Diem Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist, you will provide evaluations and speech-language therapy services to infants, toddlers, and school-aged children with communication disorders. Working alongside families, educators, and an interdisciplinary team, you'll develop individualized treatment plans that help children build the communication skills they need to succeed in everyday life.

This position offers the flexibility of a per diem schedule while allowing you to make a lasting difference in the lives of children and families throughout our community.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations to determine eligibility for services.
  • Provide individualized speech-language therapy to children on your assigned caseload.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor treatment plans designed to meet each child's unique communication needs.
  • Complete and maintain accurate electronic and paper documentation in a timely manner.
  • Participate as a member of interdisciplinary treatment teams and attend IEP and other required meetings.
  • Collaborate with families, caregivers, educators, and other professionals to support each child's progress.
  • Monitor therapy materials and equipment needs and communicate supply requests as appropriate.
  • Complete monthly billing documentation accurately and on time.
  • Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and other agency initiatives as assigned.
  • Promote confidentiality, compliance, safety, and all Agency policies and procedures while providing compassionate, person-centered care.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Current New York State License in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience evaluating and treating children with communication disorders from birth through school age.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with interdisciplinary teams, families, and community partners.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to off-site service locations.
  • Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position, including lifting up to 50 pounds with or without assistance.

PAY & PERKS:

This is a per diem position offering a flexible schedule based on program needs.

Pay rates are as follows:

Early Intervention(EI) Basic EI Visit: $40/hr

Early Intervention Extended EI Visit: $50/hr

Early Intervention Basic EI Sitevisit: $20/hr

Early Intervention Core Evaluation: $100/hr

Preschool Related Service Visit: $30/hr

Preschool Supplemental Evaluation: $100/hr
