Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Location: The Woodlands, TX

Pay Rate: Starting at $23.00/hour

Schedule: 7 on / 7 off | Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM

Dean's Professional Services is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Nuclear Medicine Technologist to support a leading healthcare system in The Woodlands, TX. This role offers a unique rotating schedule and the opportunity to work in a fast-paced imaging environment focused on delivering high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform PET/CT imaging studies to evaluate organ function and assist in diagnosis and treatment planning
  • Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals in accordance with safety and regulatory guidelines
  • Ensure accurate imaging, proper positioning, and patient safety throughout procedures
  • Operate and maintain imaging equipment, including GE PET/CT systems
  • Review and analyze imaging data for quality and accuracy
  • Collaborate with physicians and clinical staff to support patient care and workflow efficiency
  • Maintain proper documentation in EPIC and ensure compliance with departmental protocols
  • Monitor equipment performance and report any issues to ensure optimal operation

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED required (Associate's or higher preferred)
  • Current Texas Medical Board (MRT) license required
  • Certification required: ARRT (N) or NMTCB
  • Experience with PET/CT imaging and GE equipment preferred
  • Familiarity with EPIC or similar EMR systems
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and patient care skills
