Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and complete MIG, TIG, and Flux Core welding in the assembly of parts to MIL-Standard Quality
  • Regulate gas, current, voltage, and electrodes to perform arc welding
  • Regulate pressure, flow, and tips to perform gas welding
  • Inspect welds using measuring equipment and weld gauges
  • Maintain production logs and required records
  • Coach and assist colleagues as necessary
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment

Requirements:

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years’ experience in GTAW, GMAW, and FCAW welding
  • Ability to read work instructions for setup requirements
  • Ability to use Oxy/Fuel Torch, hand, and power tools
  • Ability to pass required certifications as needed
  • Good interpersonal skills for working within a team; also able to work independently
  • Ability to read blueprints and engineering drawings a plus
  • Must have tools
