Physician Assistant (PA)
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physician Assistant (PA) to provide comprehensive primary care services in an outpatient clinical setting. The Physician Assistant will collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients across a wide range of acute and chronic medical conditions. Responsibilities include conducting patient assessments, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, developing treatment plans, prescribing medications in accordance with state law, providing preventive care, educating patients and families, and maintaining accurate electronic medical records. The ideal candidate is committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care while promoting clinical excellence, teamwork, and positive health outcomes.
Requirements
Requirements- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
- Master's degree in Physician Assistant Studies or a related field.
- Current Physician Assistant license in the state of practice or eligibility for licensure.
- Current certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
- Current DEA registration or eligibility to obtain.
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience providing primary care, family medicine, internal medicine, urgent care, or outpatient clinical services preferred.
- Proficiency with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems and clinical documentation.
- Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, communication, and patient education skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
- Excellent critical thinking, organizational, and time management skills.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States. U.S. Citizens and Lawful Permanent Residents (Green Card holders) are encouraged to apply.
- Ability to successfully complete all pre-employment requirements, including background screening, credential verification, and drug screening, if applicable.
