Project Engineer

The Project Engineer plays a key role in overseeing and executing complex engineering projects. This position is responsible for managing project planning, design, implementation, and ensuring alignment with organizational goals, timelines, and budgets

• Lead and manage engineering projects, ensuring all phases—from planning to execution—are completed on time, within budget, and to specification.

• Review and evaluate project proposals, objectives, and plans to ensure technical feasibility and alignment with project goals.

• Develop and assign responsibilities, create project schedules, and allocate resources efficiently to meet project milestones.

• Design, conduct, and analyze tests to measure project progress, performance, and compliance with design specifications.

• Ensure that projects are completed within budget constraints and recommend adjustments to plans or schedules as needed to meet project objectives.

• Coordinate and collaborate with external vendors, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure the timely delivery of materials and services.

• Provide regular project status updates and detailed progress reports to senior management and key stakeholders.

• Identify potential risks or issues and implement mitigation strategies to address challenges and keep projects on track.

• Ensure compliance with all relevant state, federal, and industry regulations, maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient work environment.

• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and recommend process or design improvements based on project feedback.

• Perform all other duties as assigned.

• Education: Bachelor's

• Experience: Minimum of 4 years of experience.

• Experience working with external vendors and managing cross-functional teams.

• Previous experience in a leadership role is preferred, with demonstrated ability to mentor and guide junior engineers.

• Certifications: Certification in project management (e.g., PMP) is a plus.
