Job Description
We are seeking a Software Test Automation Engineer to support the quality assurance and testing of enterprise applications and systems. This role focuses on designing, developing, and executing automated testing solutions to ensure software reliability, functionality, performance, and compatibility across multiple environments.
The ideal candidate has experience building automated test frameworks, developing test scripts, and conducting comprehensive software validation activities using industry-standard automation tools.
- Design, develop, and execute automated testing solutions for enterprise software applications
- Conduct software compatibility testing across applications, hardware platforms, databases, and operating systems
- Develop automated test plans and testing programs to validate functionality, performance, usability, and system integration
- Create and maintain automated test scripts for functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing
- Perform regression testing, negative testing, bug verification, and usability testing to ensure application quality
- Analyze test results, identify defects, and work closely with development teams to resolve issues
- Validate software changes and ensure system stability across development, test, and production environments
- Support continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) processes through automated testing practices
- Document testing procedures, test cases, test results, and quality assurance activities
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to understand requirements and define testing strategies
- Experience designing and developing automated test frameworks and scripts
- Experience conducting software compatibility testing across applications, databases, hardware, and operating systems
- Experience developing and executing regression, integration, functional, negative, and usability tests
- Hands-on experience with Selenium test automation
- Hands-on experience with Playwright test automation
- Experience identifying, documenting, and validating software defects and bug fixes
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and software testing methodologies
- Experience working in Agile development environments
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
