Position Overview

As a Public Space Attendant, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness, appearance, and overall presentation of our resort's public areas. Your work helps create a welcoming atmosphere for guests while supporting the overall success of the Housekeeping team.

What You'll Do

• Clean and maintain hotel lobbies, hallways, restrooms, elevators, meeting spaces, and other public areas
• Vacuum carpets and rugs and clean upholstered furniture
• Sweep, mop, scrub, polish, and maintain hard-surface flooring
• Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and decorative elements
• Remove trash and maintain cleanliness throughout the property
• Collect and transport soiled linens to designated locations
• Restock linen pantries and housekeeping supplies
• Deliver guest-requested items such as towels, cribs, cots, and other amenities
• Assist Room Attendants as needed during high-occupancy periods
• Maintain housekeeping carts, closets, and storage areas
• Support cleanliness around pool areas and resort service spaces
• Report maintenance concerns, damaged items, and lost-and-found articles
• Interact with guests in a friendly, professional, and helpful manner
• Follow all departmental procedures, safety guidelines, and brand standards
• Perform other duties as assigned

What We're Looking For

• Previous housekeeping, hotel, resort, custodial, or related experience preferred
• Hospitality experience is a plus, but we are willing to train motivated individuals
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent guest service and communication skills
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
• English proficiency required; bilingual English/Spanish candidates are encouraged to apply
