- Clinical Shift Schedule: Mon – Fri, 8a – 5p (extended to 7p on Mon/Tue)
- Patient Volume/Census: 25 (MD) / 20 (APPs) patients daily
- Licenses: Active Virginia license, DEA
- Board: BC/BE in Family Practice or Internal Medicine
- DEA: Current DEA registration required
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS
- Experience: Completion of accredited family practice residency
- Performs physical examinations of new and existing patients and determines x-ray examinations and clinical laboratory tests required.
- Interprets examination findings, test results, and implements treatment plans.
- Provides continuing, comprehensive health maintenance and medical care to the entire family unit, including preventive medicine, behavioral sciences, and community health.
- Participates in surgical, obstetrical, gynecological, and critical care procedures according to training and demonstrated ability.
- Instructs other healthcare providers and non-medical personnel in health-related topics, including first-aid measures, basic and advanced cardiac life support, and healthcare maintenance.
