NETTTS is seeking a motivated and student-focused Career Services Advisor to support students throughout their training journey and assist graduates with launching successful careers in the skilled trades industry.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment, working with people, and making a direct impact on student success.
Schedule & Compensation- Starting pay at $20/hour, negotiable based on experience
- Flexible schedule required, including evenings and 1–2 Saturdays per month

- Assist students with resume writing, interview preparation, and career planning
- Help students search and apply for employment opportunities
- Build relationships with employers and identify job placement opportunities
- Conduct student mentoring, career coaching, and classroom presentations
- Support graduates with employment verification and placement follow-up
- Maintain accurate student records and employment documentation
- Collaborate with instructional staff and campus leadership to support student success
- Track student outcomes and ensure compliance with school and accrediting standards
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to motivate and mentor students from diverse backgrounds
- Organized, dependable, and detail-oriented
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Passion for helping students achieve career success
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in job placement, recruiting, advising, sales, instruction, or administrative support
- Strong computer and organizational skills
- Experience in career services or workforce development
- Connections within CDL, HVAC, or skilled trades industries
- Experience presenting to groups or leading workshops
- Bilingual abilities are a plus
