Position Summary:
The Payroll Specialist is responsible for accurately processing payroll and ensuring compliance with all applicable regulations and company policies. This role requires strong technical expertise, attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to troubleshoot payroll-related issues in a fast-paced environment.

Work Schedule:
  • Salaried, non-exempt position (eligible for overtime).
  • 100% on-site in Highland Heights office.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process full-cycle payroll accurately and on schedule using ADP Vantage.
  • Maintain payroll records, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
  • Troubleshoot payroll discrepancies, system errors, and employee concerns, providing timely and effective resolutions.
  • Analyze payroll data to identify inconsistencies and implement corrective actions.
  • Utilize Excel functions such as PivotTables and VLOOKUP for reporting, analysis, and audits.
  • Collaborate with HR, Finance, and employees to resolve payroll inquiries.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations.
  • Support process improvement initiatives and workflow optimization.
  • Assist with audits, reporting, and payroll reconciliations.

Required Qualifications:
  • Experience with ADP Vantage.
  • Familiarity with ADP SmartCompliance.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to independently troubleshoot and resolve payroll issues.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with high accuracy.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Canadian payroll.
  • Familiarity with ADP Workforce Now.
  • Experience with process analysis and development.
  • Bilingual in French (written and verbal).

Education & Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field preferred.
  • Equivalent combination of relevant education and payroll experience will also be considered.
