Residential Home Manager

Seeking a dedicated and experienced Residential Manager to oversee the daily operations of a group home serving individuals with developmental disabilities in the Orlando area.

This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for ensuring high-quality care, regulatory compliance, and a safe, supportive environment for both residents and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of one or more residential homes
• Ensure appropriate staffing ratios and adjust schedules as needed
• Provide supervision, guidance, and in-service training to Direct Support Professionals
• Transport and accompany residents to medical appointments as needed
• Ensure all individuals are treated with dignity, respect, and person-centered care
• Implement individualized programs and service plans
• Attend meetings and maintain required documentation
• Manage household needs, including grocery shopping and supplies
• Work scheduled shifts alongside Direct Support Staff as needed
• Participate in an on-call rotation

Qualifications:

• Previous supervisory or management experience required
• Experience in APD-licensed homes strongly preferred
• Prior experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or a related field required
• Associate’s Degree in Social Services, Psychology, or a related field preferred
• Ability to pass a Level 2 background screening and drug screening
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written in English)
• Valid Florida driver’s license with a clean driving record

Additional Information:

This is an exempt, on-call position requiring flexibility, including occasional evenings, weekends, holidays, and direct care shifts.
