Position Overview

seeking an experienced Retail Sales & Operations Manager to oversee our retail store specializing in pole barn materials, roofing metal, and building components.

This is not an entry-level position. We are looking for an experienced individual who can step into an existing operation, improve organization, create efficient systems, and manage all aspects of our retail sales department.

Responsibilities

• Manage all daily retail sales operations
• Assist customers with roofing metal, building materials, and component sales
• Prepare customer quotes and process orders accurately
• Enter and manage orders using computer software
• Maintain inventory organization and accuracy
• Coordinate customer orders with production and delivery schedules
• Build and improve retail systems and procedures
• Organize paperwork, customer files, and order tracking
• Ensure excellent customer service and follow-up
• Help develop a more efficient retail operation as the company continues to grow

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of retail sales or retail management experience
• Strong computer skills with the ability to quickly learn new software
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
• Experience managing inventory, orders, or retail operations
• Professional appearance and positive attitude
• Dependable with strong attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the building materials, construction, roofing, hardware, or agricultural industries
• Experience creating or improving business systems and processes
• Management or supervisory experience

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay: $20.00 – $35.00 per hour, depending on experience
