Senior Java Developer TEST

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Developer to design, develop, and maintain enterprise web applications in a collaborative Agile environment. This role is responsible for building scalable, cloud-based applications, contributing to modern software development practices, and ensuring high-quality, secure solutions throughout the software development lifecycle. The ideal candidate has strong Java development experience, is comfortable working with modern frameworks and cloud technologies, and enjoys collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable software solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise web applications and services
• Gather and analyze business requirements to build scalable application solutions
• Develop applications using Java and modern front-end technologies including React or Angular
• Build RESTful services and integrate enterprise applications
• Apply Test-Driven Development (TDD) and software engineering best practices
• Support the adoption and implementation of DevOps principles throughout the development lifecycle
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve application defects and production issues
• Implement enhancements, bug fixes, and ongoing maintenance activities
• Ensure applications meet established security standards and protect sensitive customer information
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog refinement
• Collaborate with architects, developers, QA engineers, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions
• Continuously improve application performance, reliability, and maintainability

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 5+ years of professional software development experience
• 5–7 years of experience developing enterprise Java applications
• 5–7 years of experience working on Agile software development teams
• Experience developing and supporting cloud-hosted applications
• Ability to exercise independent judgment while working within established project objectives
