Assistant and Lead Teachers: 1-2 Year Old Classroom

Crawlers 2 Scholars (C2S) is an Early Learning Center for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years. Due to Covid our current hours of operation are 7:00 am to 5:30 pm (regular hours are 7 am to 6 pm) Monday to Friday.

At Crawlers 2 Scholars the focus is on developing the complete child in a loving, nurturing, and academic environment. We believe each child is unique and embrace this individuality and recognize its limitless potential. At C2S we build a strong foundation for a lifetime of learning.

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• General classroom management and supervision including safety, well-being, and personal care of the children.
• Compliance with NJ State Licensing regulations and C2S Policies
• Creating and implementing lesson plans in accordance to the C2S curriculum
• Planning and providing age-appropriate activities for the children
• Facility and Classroom Maintenance (bulletin boards, classroom, and playground appearance)

Qualifications:

The right candidate for the position is a warm, nurturing, and responsible individual who loves children. Additional requirements are:

• Desire to work with children and a genuine commitment to education and learning
• Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, etc.)
• Effective organizational skills (time management and multi-tasking)
• Professional, team player, responsible, and committed
• Bachelor Degree in Education or Psychology preferred, but not required
• Childcare experience, 1 year or more, preferably in a licensed center
