Delivery Driver

New Orleans, LA (East & West Bank): Flexicrew Technical Services (FTS) is seeking a Delivery Driver with freight handling experience delivering appliances, furniture, and other large items. The ideal candidate will possess a valid Class D or CDL license, a clean driving record, and experience operating box trucks while providing safe and professional delivery services.

Essential Duties: • Operate a box truck safely and efficiently throughout the New Orleans East and West Bank areas. • Deliver appliances, furniture, and other freight to residential and commercial locations. • Load, unload, secure, and transport freight in accordance with company safety procedures. • Inspect vehicles before and after trips to ensure safe operating conditions. • Verify delivery documentation and obtain customer signatures as required. • Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and team members regarding delivery schedules and issues. • Maintain compliance with all local, state, and federal transportation regulations. • Provide professional customer service during all deliveries and pickups.

Requirements/Skills: • Valid Class D Driver’s License or CDL. • Clean driving record with the ability to meet insurance requirements. • Previous experience handling and delivering appliances, furniture, or other heavy freight. • Experience operating box trucks safely in residential and commercial environments. • Ability to follow delivery schedules and route instructions. • Strong attention to safety procedures and cargo securement. • Good communication and customer service skills. • Must pass applicable pre-employment screenings. • No felony convictions.

Physical Requirements: • Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull heavy appliances, furniture, and freight on a regular basis. • Ability to safely lift and move items weighing up to 100 pounds with assistance as needed. • Frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, climbing, and reaching. • Ability to enter and exit a box truck multiple times throughout the workday. • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
