Commercial Door Installer

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Commercial Door Installer to join our team in Irving, TX. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining commercial doors, frames, and hardware in various settings, ensuring they operate safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, a basic understanding of electrical systems, and experience working with commercial door hardware. However, we are willing to train the right candidate who demonstrates the necessary foundational skills.

Responsibilities

• Install and adjust commercial doors, frames, and hardware in metal, wood, and aluminum frames.
• Troubleshoot and repair door systems, including hinges, closers, exit devices, operators, and vertical rods.
• Read and interpret door hardware schedules and technical blueprints.
• Perform low-voltage wiring for access control systems (a plus but not required).
• Ensure proper alignment, function, and security of installed doors and hardware.
• Adhere to safety protocols and industry standards.
