What you'll do
As a Belt Fabricator Technician, you’ll play a key role in fabricating, repairing, and installing conveyor belts and components—either in our shop or at customer sites.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Fabricate, build, and repair conveyor belts and belt components
- Install and vulcanize lightweight conveyor belting
- Measure, cut, and assemble materials with precision
- Receive, verify, and organize incoming parts and materials
- Operate hand tools and heavy equipment (including forklifts) safely
- Pick up and deliver materials, stock, and completed orders
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
- Follow all safety procedures and wear the required PPE
- Represent Belt Power professionally at all times

Required Qualifications:
- Strong mechanical aptitude and hands‐on problem‐solving skills
- Ability to read a tape measure and work with precise measurements
- Basic math and computer skills
- Strong attention to detail and organization
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in tight spaces or at heights
- Adaptable and comfortable in a fast‐paced environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check
- High school diploma or equivalent
Preferred:
- Previous maintenance or belt technician experience
- Desire to learn new processes and grow within a skilled trade
Work Environment & Physical Requirements:
- Work performed primarily in a fabrication shop environment
- Moderate noise levels; well‐lit and ventilated workspace
- Use of heavy machinery, hand tools, and ladders
- Frequent bending, standing, kneeling, and lifting
- Strict adherence to safety standards and PPE requirements
Schedule
- Full‐time position
- Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Overtime and occasional weekend work may be required
- Travel may be required depending on customer needs
