Job Description

Proman is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Warehouse Shipping & Receiving Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling incoming and outgoing shipments, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring materials are properly stored, picked, and shipped.

Warehouse Operations

Review sales orders to determine items to be picked, packed, and shipped
Receive and move materials from receiving areas to storage or designated locations
Sort and store inventory on racks, shelves, or bins by size, type, or product
Pull materials from orders and distribute to production or shipping
Assemble, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment
Scan barcodes and maintain accurate inventory records
Weigh, count, and measure materials to ensure quality standards are met
Package products according to company procedures and customer instructions
Use computers and scanners to track inventory and shipments
Complete required documentation such as inspection records and shipping paperwork
Operate forklift to transport materials safely

Quality & Safety

Follow all warehouse safety procedures and company policies
Maintain high product quality standards
Participate in inventory counts and audits

Qualifications

Previous warehouse, shipping/receiving, or inventory experience preferred
Ability to operate a forklift or willingness to be trained
Basic computer and scanning system skills
Strong attention to detail and organization skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Good communication skills
