2026-2027 Fourth Grade Art of Thinking Teacher - Morehouse

Third Future Schools is a high-achieving and growing network of charter schools. The network's school in Bastrop, LA, Morehouse, is looking for a 4th grade art of thinking teacher. Morehouse's teachers help students improve academic proficiency and build habits of success. They create a safe and orderly learning environment for students who are assigned to their class and for all the students in the school. They are supervised by the principal and assistant principal.

Art of Thinking (Critical Thinking and Information Literacy) Teacher
The Art of Thinking teacher guides students in developing critical thinking and information literacy skills through the analysis of media, arguments, and real-world information sources. Students will learn to identify logical fallacies, propaganda, misinformation, bias, and the difference between fact and opinion while practicing thoughtful discussion and evidence-based reasoning.

Classroom teachers receive great support. Lesson plans, demonstrations of learning, and student assignments and activities are provided to the teachers by expert curriculum developers. Teacher assistants makes copies and grade papers for the teachers. Teachers also have minimal duties and only four days a month.
