PRN Caregiver (PCA/CNA)
Location: Augusta, GA
Position Type: PRN (As Needed)
Pay Rate: $16.00 per Hour
Job Summary
We are seeking compassionate, dependable, and professional Personal Care Assistants (PCA) and Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) to join our home care team in Augusta, Georgia. As a PRN Caregiver, you will provide high-quality in-home care services that promote client independence, dignity, comfort, and safety. Responsibilities include assisting clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), companionship, mobility assistance, and light household support. These duties are consistent with common Georgia home care caregiver roles.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care, including bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
- Provide mobility assistance, transfers, and ambulation support.
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding when needed.
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and organization of client living areas.
- Provide medication reminders in accordance with company policy.
- Accompany clients to appointments, errands, or community activities as assigned.
- Observe and report changes in client condition to the office and family members as required.
- Maintain accurate documentation of services provided.
- Follow individualized care plans and all company policies and procedures.
- Ensure client safety and maintain a clean, comfortable environment.
Qualifications
PCA Applicants
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous caregiving or home care experience preferred.
- Current CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license preferred.
CNA Applicants
- Active Georgia CNA certification required.
- Current CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
- Previous home care, hospice, or healthcare experience preferred.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license preferred.
