Handyman

The Handyman will work independently within a large maintenance department, performing a variety of maintenance and repair tasks to support commercial buildings and industrial facilities. This role focuses on maintaining electrical, plumbing, and general facilities equipment with an emphasis on preventive upkeep, repair operations, and installation support. The position requires hands-on work including painting and the operation of hand and power tools, contributing to safe and efficient facility operations.

Responsibilities

• Perform equipment maintenance and preventive upkeep
• Monitor and repair electrical, plumbing, and facility systems
• Support installation of utility equipment
• Apply paint and coatings as part of maintenance tasks
• Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively

Preferred Qualifications

• Entry-level experience in utilities maintenance
• Valid driver’s license
• Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems
• Proficient troubleshooting skills
• Understanding of safety protocols
